SS Suevia Poster

SS Suevia was launched in 1874. In 1896 she was sold and renamed. That gives a neat window in which to date this ship. I lean towards dating her closer to beginning rather than her end. Here's a rather disturbing fact for those afflicted with claustrophobia: Almost 1000 people (total passengers and crew) crammed aboard this 109.8 metre liner. That's about 360 feet for those unfamiliar with metric measurements. By the way, if you look astern of Suevia, you can see a two-funnel White Star liner following into New York harbour.
