St. Matthias the Apostle (JMAS 09) Ceramic Tree Decoration

You have several options here: 1) Leave the ornament as is with the same image on both sides. 2) Hide or delete the image of the Apostle on the back to reveal a wreath surrounding a blank parchment ready to receive a greeting, a Biblical passage, or any other text of your choosing. Or, 3) hide or delete the wreath and/or the parchment to reveal a blank, solid-coloured area. Traditions vary somewhat about his post-selection ministry but agree that he suffered martyrdom. Here, he shoulders an axe as its instrument; in other representations, he may carry a spear or halberd.
