This is a digitally enhanced print from an antique Currier and Ives hand-coloured lithograph of Saint Patrick. The text reads "The Apostle of Ireland St. Patrick, BORN A.D. 372, DIED A.D. 464. Serpentes et. omnia venenata animalia ex Hibernia baculo Jesu expulit". Additional signature: "115 Nassau St. New York", lower right corner. It features St. Patrick standing at centre eyes raised towards the sky. He is holding a red covered open book in his left hand, with staff in right. He wears a red robe, green vestment. There is a cathedral spire in left background, and snakes at his feet.
