One of our favourite critters here at conqueror bristleworm, this specimen of Diopatra Cuprea (a polychaete, or bristle worm) was collected at low tide from a sandy beach in Delaware. These guys live in tubes, and lunge out to snap up food items with their jaws. And yes, they have jaws.

It was a gift to my sister in law and her new husband (who are both marines). And they absolutely adored it. It was a high quality photo to begin with so I thought shrinking it down would ruin it, but it didn't and it looked fabulous.
