This beautiful and vibrant bloom is known by many names: Gaillardia, Firewheel, Indian Blanket, Blanket Flower and Sundance. Used by modern-day naturalists to make all-natural dyes, it's more common names (Blanket Flower, Indian Blanket) are said to be a nod to the beautiful blankets crafted by Native Americans. Also symbolic of the region's rich Native American heritage, gaillardia was established as the official Oklahoma State Wildflower in 1986. This beautiful little bloom is also representative of love and care. These lovely stickers are an excellent choice for sealing envelopes, scrapbooking and other crafts.
