Stop The Bad Rain Card

I starting drawing this when one of my best friend's families was going through a series of very sad events. I remember being stuck. My other friends were offering words of comfort, and they all sounded like Mother Teresa and the Dali Lhama: Profound and helpful. I couldn't think of anything. All I wanted to do was scream at the sky to stop raining $#!* on my friend. So that's what I told her. And she thought it was funny. I gave her that, at least. This morning I read another sad story from a friend (different friend) whose family has also had a lot of sadness lately, and I felt the exact same thing. So I dug this out of my file folder, scanned it, cleaned up my smudges and coloured it. Then posted it. Sometimes we need the words of wisdom and sometimes we just need to laugh.
