Sts-61-Mission Patch Watch
STS-61 was the first NASA Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission, and the fifth flight of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. The mission launched on 2 December 1993 from Kennedy Space Centre (KSC) in Florida. The mission restored the spaceborne observatory's vision (marred by spherical aberration in its mirror) with the installation of a new main camera and a corrective optics package (COSTAR). This correction occurred more than three and a half years after the Hubble was launched aboard STS-31 in April 1990. The flight also brought instrument upgrades and new solar arrays to the telescope.

Bought last minute for hubbys 65th birthday. Arrived in NZ by express on the day. Loves it and so does everyone he’s shown it to. Lovely watch and strap and words small but clear. Thank you 😍. Great. Small but clear.

Yeah, I designed the artwork on this but I had to have one myself and I must say it is a nice solid watch and the detail on the face is amazingly clear. .
