Stupid Pheidippides Marathon Running SS Sport-Tek T-Shirt
Legend has it that in 490BC, Pheidippides ran approximately 25 miles from Marathon to Athens, to announce the news of Greek victory over the Persians in the Battle of Marathon. Sadly, he barely had the words out of his mouth, when he collapsed and died from exhaustion. Despite his fate, over 2,500 years later, some of us are crazy enough to continue the tradition of the "marathon", which is now measured at a standardised distance of 26.2 miles. Want to blame someone when you're at mile 25 and you don't think you can take another step? Blame Pheidippides! He's the guy who started this crazy sport!

I bought this shirt for my husband who is a marathon runner. It is a good quality, light-weight, sweat-wicking shirt, perfect for his long distance running needs. The design is an image of Pheidippides, the first man to run a "marathon" - the guy who started this crazy idea, and who should get all the blame when your legs and feet are ready to quit! Printing is excellent - colors are just as displayed in the photo with crisp, clear outlines.
When we initially received the shirt, the design was not centered and not straight. I called Zazzle customer service to report the problem. Customer Service was extremely helpful, and asked me to email a photo of the shirt. In less than half an hour of sending the photo, I had a response from them saying that they were making a new shirt and sending it to me by express delivery, free of charge. I didn't have to return the defective shirt and the new shirt was perfect.
Top points to Zazzle Customer Service for handling this so quickly and easily!

This shirt is great! Similar to the Nike Dri Fit shirts. Love the color, feels very comfortable. The printing came out okay. I'm very satisfied with it. There is a "box like" shape in the middle where the graphics are centered. Not noticeable but no major issue.
