I think that the NYC Subways are so unique from any other subways in the world. This is on 215th St where I live in Inwood which is at the northern part of Manhattan. I wanted this to be strong and vibrant and who better than Van Gogh as an inspiration to capture the gutsiness and movement of the subway. This train goes all the way up into Riverdale in the Bronx and as far south as the village and city hall.
