Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), Rynek Glowny, Krakow, Poland One of the iconic images of Krakow is the Cloty Hall. Sukiennice is located on the Market Sq (Rynek) in the heart of the Mediaeval city. The Renaissance style building was once the centre of economic activities of Krakow. It was damaged several times and it was reconstructed in the 19th century. The building now serves as a "shopping mall" and the shops offer folk art items and jewellery. It has a less visited gallery on the first floor.
