Sumac Focus Throw Pillow

The day I buried my beloved Ruby-dog, I was moved to capture the brilliance of the sumac leaves against the sky. I took that as a gift from her. Recreating these bright cheerful colours in paint was balm to my heart. This print was begun in mono print acrylics and then scanned and digitally composed. What I love about monprinting in this way are the playful textures and organic variation in colour. 16"x16", polyester with zipper.
