Summit Ave, St Paul, MN The Summit Ave is a 4 mile-long street in St.Paul between the Cathedral and the Mississippi river on Crocus and Ramsey Hill. It's not only a geological summit, but it was the home of the wealthy Minnesotans in the 19th century. Most of the Victorian mansions were built between 1850-1890. The Avenue began to decline in the 1930s, but today it is one of the most fashionable zones of St.Paul once again.
