Flowers are an ancient beauty of nature, while bees play a classic role of pollination for the environment. Sunflowers have a sunny reputation of their very own, but when I saw two bees perched on the centre of one that made a pattern like a smiley face, I wanted to create an acrylic painting of the sight. The resulting work appears on these tote bags.
