There is a reason why the people of Washington State call Mount Rainier, "The Mountain". On any clear day you can see Mount Rainier from miles and miles away. In places it looks tiny, in other places it fills the entire sky. It stands taller than any mountain surrounding it at 14,409 feet. And it is awe inspiring just to gaze at it. I took this photograph from the marina in downtown Olympia, WA. If you'd like this image on a product that is not available just let me know and I'll create it for you.
