    Brilliant colors are the star in the original acrylic painting of Cold Lake, AB, shown off in this jumbo sized mug. Is it a glorious sunset? Is it the stunning Northern Lights? Or is it just a vivid imagination? Truth is, Cold Lake is in northern Alberta, and it's famous for its deep, cold water and the wilderness surrounding it. My husband and I were out fishing at summer's tail end, and we were blown away by the setting sun that faded in a heartbeat. As we loaded the boat a while later, the northern lights replaced the sun's radiance, and we watched it in awe. Sometimes there aren't enough colors in a palette to match what Nature herself can paint.

    Purchase of the 7th Cavalry Mug was a last minute addition to my purchases and I am really pleased I acquired the Mug. The one I purchased was a "large" but wow, it is large - Extremely well made and just to Mug to put down at a coffee time with a bunch of mates. Early days, but the colours and motifs (there are two) withstand the washing and look great.
