The Hypersomnia Foundation is a nonprofit patient advocacy group raising awareness of idiopathic hypersomnia and related rare sleep disorders. Never heard of IH, but know someone who struggles with daytime sleepiness, even after a full night's sleep? Other symptoms include difficult waking, cognitive issues ("brain fog") Notably, taking a nap does not help. (People with IH don't feel refreshed when they wake from naps.) Although feeling tired is a common complaint, persistent & excessive daytime sleepiness may indicate a sleep disorder. The coffee mug is beautifully painted in the two-tone hunter green, with the NZ Fantail bird depicted on both front and back and looks amazing.
