Symmetry Art Baby Bodysuit

Simple cotton bodysuit with bright pastel colours. I asked our chief math officer in the house (aka the dad, who is a mathematician) what math concepts he wants to teach the baby. Dad said 'shapes' and 'symmetry' are at the top of the list because they will help with finding patterns later, which is very useful. With this in mind, I designed artwork featuring a star that babies love fitting into a pentagon, along with a centre line that helps kids see that the left and right sides are the same. I hope they will later learn that this is symmetry and that they can find many examples of symmetry in the shapes they see everyday. This design is also available as an adult t-shirt. If your family loves math and shapes, this would be a perfect matching set.Recommend keeping it as ‘vivid printing’ as these pastel colours don’t come out well on ‘classic printing’.
