America used to be the #1 producer and exporter of petroleum. Now we've got politicians shutting down oil fields, pipelines and refineries, while hyper-regulating fuel production everywhere else - forcing us to be at the mercy of authoritarian (read: ethically evil) nations like Russia and Venezuela for our civilisation's lifeblood. The ideology driving this destructive, anti-humanist policy is of course the "Green" cult. What had once been a movement with the noble goal of minimising pollution has long since become no more than a vehicle for disgruntled retro-Marxian neanderthals who would like to drag humanity back to the material squalor of the Dark Ages. Without the right to travel as we please we are no better than Mediaeval serfs, existing at the pleasure of corrupt royalty - like today's politicians and high-dollar "Environmental" groups. Remind people exactly who is to blame for the astronomical prices working people are paying at the gas pump.
