[Takeda] Family crest of the Takeda clan. It is derived from the fact that Shinra Saburo MINAMOTO no Yoshimitsu, the founder of Kai-Genji (Minamoto clan), gave the crest of Waribishi on the sleeve of armor by oracle. (Source: "The Family Crest" of Sengoku Busho (Japanese military commander): Shingen TAKEDA (1521-1573) was founded by Yoshikiyo, a son of Shinra Saburo Yoshimitsu of Seiwa-Genji (Minamoto clan).
