This design features the national flag of Tanzania (officially known as the United Republic of Tanzania), which is a country in East Africa; it is located within the African Great Lakes region. Mount Kilimanjaro, which is Africa's highest mountain, is situated in northeastern Tanzania. Tanzania borders Uganda to the north; Kenya to the northeast; Comoro Islands and the Indian Ocean to the east; Mozambique and Malawi to the south; Zambia to the southwest; and Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west. The national language of Tanzania is Swahili. The capital city of Tanzania is Dodoma, while the largest city in Tanzania is Dar es Salaam.
