Glutinous black sticky rice is a naturally sweet, dark rice that has both fibre and loads of antioxidants.
In China, black rice is believed to be a superfood with many healthy benefits, good for the kidney, stomach and liver.
Black Rice was once called the Forbidden Rice earning its name because it was once reserved for the Chinese Emperor, for whom it was meant to ensure health and longevity.
