A copy of a 1926 illustrated, art deco map titled "The New Map of the World". Designed by Edward Everett Henry and printed in 1926 by the Washington Square Book Shop of New York City. The original copy of this early 20th century poster, with its wooden frame, measures 38 by 33.5 inches. It is decorated with depictions of various stages of human and social development as well as representations of historic moments. A fun and interestingly unusual map. A wonderful item for history and map buffs!
