The Ahwahnee Hotel Mug

The Awahnee Hotel photo mug features a beautiful photograph of the four star hotel on the floor of Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, California, constructed from stone, concrete, wood and glass. This artistic picture was taken by Kurt Keller with a digital 35 mm camera during an educational photography tour following in the footsteps of Ansel Adams in Yosemite National Park. The Ahwahnee Hotel opened in 1926 and was specifically designed to highlight its natural surroundings, featuring Yosemite Falls, Half Dome and Glacier Point. The Ahwahnee Hotel is a premiere example of National Park Service Rustic architecture, and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987.
