Filippo Lippi (1406 - October 8, 1469) was a painter in the middle of the Renaissance in Italy. He was also Botticelli's mentor.
Along with Fra Angelico, he was a leading painter of the Florentine school in the early 15 century. In contrast to Fra Angelico, who was a devout monk, she is known for her carefree life, including eloping with a nun. Quote:Wikipedia
