The Blessing of Friendship Card

A motivational greeting card, honoring friendship. A verse which speaks so directly to the heart of soul of females who are blessed with true girlfriends. There's a story behind how I came across this inspirational quotation as well. In the 1940's or 1950's a good friend sent this Dinah M. Craik poem about the blessing and comfort of true friendship to a young woman (who became my mother). It had been cut out of a newspaper. My mother saved that yellowed clipping with the poem all these years, and passed it on to me. It seems to describe so perfectly and beautifully the worth of a loyal,loving friend. Dinah M. Craik was an English author who lived from 1826-1887.
