As one of the oldest roadway bridges in the United States, the construction of the Brooklyn Bridge started in 1869 and was completed fourteen years later in 1883.It connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn, spanning the East River. This calendar celebrates this American icon by exploring its classic beauty from every angle, from the top pedestrian walkway to the forgotten Champagne Vaults at its bases, as shown in my acrylic and oil paintings. These paintings are a tribute to this enduring example of American art at its best.
