A Twelve-toothed cog, the technological wheel of life 12 teeth representing the 12 signs of the zodiac that all Steampunks are born under. 12 spaces between the teeth representing the 12 seats of Uther Pendragon's round table (minus the seat for Judas - there is no Judas in the Cog of Acceptance!) 4 bolts representing the four cardinal compass directions assisting one in finding their way to other Cogites. In the centre of the cog, "the point of stillness and motion" lies: Jyudaku means "acceptance" in Japanese, a language representing the mystery of the exotic - far off lands made near by technology. Infinita Diversitas is Latin for "an infinite diversity, which, in infinite combinations, is the ideal we strive to protect. Finally, this Cog is rendered in brass - the Steampunk metal symbolising common beauty.
