Hieronymus Bosch 1500s The Conjurer is a Hieronymus Bosch painting from the 1500s. It is currently in the Musée Municipal in St.-Germain-en-Laye. It is worth noting that, while the conjurer on the right of the image is the central character, the true focus of the image is on the left—where the bespectacled character is stealing the observer's money purse. The child by the table is holding a stick which identifies him as the Christ Child (the same figure appears in Bosch's work Christ Child with a Walking Frame). The colours were rich and the image sharp.
