The FACE On MARS-_-Cydonia Mensae Magic Mug

On 25 July, 1976 the Viking 1 orbiter captured this image in the Cydonia Mensae region of Mars. The Face On Mars it was dubbed, and quickly NASA tried stuffing it under a rug which had to measure at least a square mile. We Martians all know this face as that of the big guy, Meester Beeg, Big Joe, Big Joe Cydon, or Cydon the Great. We Martians would not be free if not for his leadership. Unalienable rights of the individual don't just protect and defend themselves, you know. It’s a long story from a long, long time ago. Every twenty-six thousand Earth years we celebrate the victory that was won after revolution upon revolution, until at last LIBERTY reigned on Mars. So at the beginning of the Vinylian Revolutions b'Zillenial celebrations in 2006 the Martian Bureau of Engraving and Printing released a special edition Federal Reserve Bank of Mars 19.5 CYDONIANS Note in both the Brown and the Blue money, positive and negative versions (SEE: MARTIAN MONEY). All four versions are Series 2006, and are Legal Tender everywhere on planet Mars, and on seven or eight of the nine other planets in our solar system (Sometimes Uranus gets kind of iffy and we're still working on free trade relations with you Earthlings). Each note reads, either forwards or backwards as follows: Series 2006, 19.5, LEGAL TENDER, MJ16334578H, NINETEEN POINT FIVE CYDONIANS, FEDERAL RESERVE BANK of MARS.
