The Glory of Spring--Card

This photograph was taken on a beautiful April day in a garden at Winterthur, the DuPont estate near Wilmington, DE. Although it was still early Spring and the deciduous trees had yet to show their leaves, the early flowers and flowering trees and shrubs were resplendent. I was particularly taken by the way the blue flowers and the blue sky seemed to match--it was as though piecs of the sky had fallen in amongst the carpet of green leaves.
