This is the last supper as described in Gospel of John 13:21. In this scripture, the Saviour announces that one of them will betray him.
This one on of Leonardo's most famous paintings. It almost didn't make it. Due to a new technique that he was trying it almost started to flake immediately. We owe a lot of gratitude for the many attempts of restoration, from the earliest from 1726, to the most recent of 1978-1999. Some people of been critical of the restoration, saying the colours are wrong, as well as some of the apostles body shapes had changed with the restoration.
