"The Maybe Green Hibiscus, or the Quite Different Double Mallow, is grown from seed. In two years the plant will produce variable flowers in shades of green, purple and peach. The flower has a scent most often described as the oh-so-pleasing smell of orange blossoms and beer. A few people say they can detect a faint undertone similar to the odour of fermented grass.
