"The Musician's Table" is a painting created by Juan Gris in 1926. It is an oil - on - canvas work that belongs to the cubist movement. Behind them, there are fragments of architectural elements or other papers and objects intersecting and overlapping. Uniquely, there is also a classically inspired sculpture or drawing of a bust, adding a human element. The artist uses shading and tonal variation to give the forms dimensionality, and the bold red background makes the composition warm and deep.
