The brushed polyester is soft and the fill is just right, nice and comfy. I was a bit surprised to find that I had to put the cover on the pillow but I may not have noticed it could be removed for washing otherwise. The only part of the zipper that shows is the puller. The print exceeded my expectations by how close it is to my original photo. The photo I took of the pillow in low light doesn't quite do it justice.
