The Nouveau Looking Glass Tile
This design started out as an Art Nouveau piece by Louis Welden Hawkins, painted in 1905. I loved the gorgeous gold work, textures, and the beautiful way of incorporating the art nouveau portrait into a looking glass or hand mirror. I have altered the original piece, cleaned it up, embellished it, and love the outcome. Hopefully you will too. The colours are rich, vibrant, and elegant.
