"The Nutcracker" Vintage Christmas Card
"The Nutcracker" is a vintage collage that depicts themes from Tchaikovsky's wonderful 1892 ballet, which was itself based on Hoffman's original 1816 story. In the tale, Clara receives the help of her godfather Uncle Drosselmeyer. The Nutcracker Prince fends off the Mouse King. Clara shows her love for the Prince by dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy. All of this takes place on Christmas Eve. All the text on the reverse side of this flat card can be edited. Be sure to replace the example text with the names and date you choose. (Attrib. I really liked the "Merry Christmas" typography on this card, and that there is space for a little message. The pattern on the back is very pretty!! I ordered a sample of this card, so I didn't use my own photos, but all of the 9 images are very detailed. I was a little worried they would turn out blurry or look too small but the card looks just how I saw it on the computer screen.

This watercolor oval wreath design was perfect for framing this excerpt of my original acrylic painting "Peaceful Winter Scene." I loved the weight and quality of the paper. I feel my Christmas card turned out beautifully. The printing and colors were very good. I do feel the design could have been centered better. My first set - the printing came out fairly close to the top. I ordered a personalized set for a client and the printing on those were not so close to the top.
