About This Design
The Polar Sea (by Caspar David Friedrich) Stone Coaster
This design features a painting by the 19th-century German artist Caspar David Friedrich (1774–1840). It depicts a shipwreck in the Arctic. It is an icy and unforgiving landscape. There are many small icebergs layered on top of each other, making them look almost like steps. However, in the background the icebergs are crushed together to form a rising tower of ice. The shipwreck next to the monumental landscape can be seen as suggesting that nature will always be more powerful than humanity. Despite its danger, one cannot help but be impressed by the majestic grandeur of the ice. The original German title of the painting is "Das Eismeer", which means "The Sea of Ice", but it has also been known as "The Polar Sea".

Very well done. I had six made with different quotes for a very unique gift. Very impressed with the printing on all 6 coasters.

Beyond expectations, the photo was perfectly reproduced on the stone and the stone texture made it something special. A quality product. As a photographer, I am very aware of print quality, and this product clearly met my high expectations.

Marble Stone Coaster
I ordered four sandstone coasters with images of my artwork. They were safely wrapped, and came out exactly as I’d hoped. .
