About This Design
The Quack Frog
Large warty frog in a green coat holding a cane and bottle of elixir, flogging his wares to a dog, a fox, two mice, a goose, a donkey and a rooster. Fun illustration by Arthur Rackham from “The Quack Frog” in Aesop’s Fables, published in 1912. Once upon a time a Frog came forth from his home in the marshes and proclaimed to all the world that he was a learned physician, skilled in drugs and able to cure all diseases. Among the crowd was a Fox, who called out, “You a doctor! Why, how can you set up to heal others when you cannot even cure your own lame legs and blotched and wrinkled skin?” Physician, heal thyself.

Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Top quality product - better than you buy in the shops!
