The Rehearsal Onstage by Degas: Key Ring

Degas created many pretty works involving dancers in action. He even did multiple versions of this particular work. Two of them are found in this store. Like the other work (The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage), both were created around the year 1874, and they are very, very similar to each other. Degas talent for depicting light is very evident. In this work, the lighting is different. It's brighter and gives the work a slightly different feel, compared to The Rehearsal of the Ballet Onstage. Buy as is or add text. Public domain work.
