The River at Berville (c. 1918) by Felix Vallotton is a vintage post impressionism fine art nature painting. The trees and clouds in the sky are reflecting in the calm water. Forests on the banks of a river on a cloudy day with blue skies. Farm workers are working in the fields with haystacks. Berville is a village in the north of France in Europe. About the Artist: Félix Edouard Vallotton (1865-1925) was a Swiss painter and print maker associated with Les Nabis. He was an important figure in the development of the modern woodcut. Les Nabis were a group of Post Impressionist avant garde artists who set the pace for fine arts and graphic arts in France in the 1890s.
