The Sinking Merchant nautical art Beer Stein

This piece started as a portrait of an old man sitting on a couch. To create a story, I set the couch in the middle of the sea, where it would eventually sink. The old man, a merchant, faces his end with calm resignation. The final draught is a scan of a pencil drawing that I painted in Procreate. Recommended for sailors, and fans of Moby Dick or The Old Man and the Sea.

This was lovely to create my own personal touches to this Beer Stein. I was able to work on it over a period of time so I didn't have to rush. Overall a very good experience thank you. It was fine. I should have chosen a lighter colour for the hears as can not read the lettering too well. Although I think I could see it fine on the screen when creating it.
