Hidden deep beneath the streets of a sprawling futuristic city exists a secret underground facility unlike anything else in the world — a massive living zoo where human emotions are preserved as actual biological creatures. Scientists, caretakers, and visitors walk silently through towering glass tunnels studying the emotions as though they were wildlife native to another dimension. Some emotions are endangered, some have become dangerously overpopulated, and rumours persist that several escaped into human society long ago. Combining cinematic scifi realism, surreal psychology, emotional symbolism, and atmospheric worldbuilding, this artwork captures the haunting idea that human emotions may not simply exist within us, but may instead be living forces humanity was never meant to fully control.
