Why didn't Leonardo Da Vinci create Roller Derby? Well, I'd assume because roller skates weren't invented yet. And I'm also assuming, at this point, that the idea of ladies on roller skates in a full-contact sport would probably be taboo. Then again, renaissance Italy was an interesting place, and I've never lived there. Maybe it'd be an underground sport like it was in the early 2000s? Either way, I thought, you know--what if he DID? So. Instead of the Vitruvian Man, there is the Vitruvian Rollergirl. Imagery similar to Da Vinci's, with a roller derby twist. Originally designed for a silent auction in 2015 for the Lehigh Valley Rollergirls, Ria Culpa is now selling this as a print to those who love roller derby and classical imagery.
