Yeah, I get it: we're all "strong" in our own ways. We all deal with the crushing blows that Life decides to throw at us. But there's the strength to face the day-to-day challenges and then there's the strength of facing them when you have a chronic illness and all you want to do is sleep, vomit, or just plain die.
