Thermonuclear Sun T-Shirt

Sun: friend to mankind or scourge of our existence? Our scientists (pffft, when have THEY ever been right about anything?) tell us that in a brief few billion years it will expand to a giant fire ball that will consume the solar system. Even now it taunts us with warming rays that encourage inappropriate beach attire and harsh glare that difficultifies driving. And it disappears for hours on end every night. What kind of a friend does that? Clipart sun with proton-proton and CNO cycle reactions that make the whole schmeer possible. And, yes, we realise the carbon cycle only contributes a tiny fraction of the output from a star as small as our sun (dur-hey). We said it was A sun, not THE sun.
