As the various dinosaurs discovered that the ground was offering a very interesting new drink, they all tried to get in close enough to sample it. Obviously the carnivores were getting almost all of the new sensation. Most of the herbivores had to bide their time until it was very late at night and then rush in for a little sample before making a quick getaway. There were some casualties, but far fewer than suspected.
