Three Little Geisha Art Poster

Impressionist painting of three Japanese maiko (geisha in training) carrying red paper umbrellas. The colours are warm and bright, and would look great in either a modern or a traditional setting. I created this digital image from a photo I took as I waited outside Kyoto's Minamiza Theatre. The maiko-san were hurrying across the road in the rain on their way to a kabuki performance. There is an earlier version of this image with different colouring and style. This painting is also available available on cards and postcards.
