竹の丸に三羽雀 TIE

たけのまるに さんわすずめ／竹紋／これは公家で名家の一つ勧修寺家（かじゅうじけ）の代表家紋である。この紋章は、近衛家の牡丹についで名誉あるものとして扱われたため、やたらな家では使うことができなかった。勧修寺家よりこれを贈与したものは、長尾・伊達・最上などの有力豪族に限られていた。従って、今日の分布状況も、これらの諸家のあった地方に、ほとんどが限られているようである。そして、勧修寺家よりこれを贈られた武家の用いたものは、いずれも二羽の雀紋となっており、公家の三羽と対照を成しているのである。（「日本姓氏紋章総覧」より）
