A vintage fine art Victorian Era fairy tale portraiture painting featuring a portrait of a beautiful young child, a girl holding a jeweled satchel and wearing a crown of butterflies on her head. About the artist: Sophie Gengembre Anderson (1823-1903) specialized in painting children and women, typically in rural settings. Her work is loosely associated with the Preraphaelite movement.
