Tomb of Maximilian I (1459-1519): view of three bronze tomb figures of female mourners, possibly ancestors, relatives or contempories, made in the workshop of Peter Vischer (c.1460-1529); in the background the figure of Maximilian kneeling in prayer on the marble sarcophagus, the design of the monument attributed to Gilg Sesselschreiber, court painter to Maximilian, 16th century (black and white photo) (see also 1031, 1033, 68697) located at the Josef Mensing Gallery, Hamm-Rhynern, Germany. The Tomb of Maximilian I (1459-1519): view of three bronze tomb figures of female mourners, possibly ancestors, relatives or contempories, made in the workshop of Peter Vischer (c.1460-1529); in the background the figure of Maximilian kneeling in prayer on the marble sarcophagus, the design of the monument attributed to Gilg Sesselschreiber, court painter to Maximilian, 16th century (black and white photo) (see also 1031, 1033, 68697) was created around the 16th century.
